Entire Pitch Black Pokemon TCG Set List Revealed
While many are already gearing up for the release of Chaos Rising, those of us looking even further into the future will be glad to know that the entire card list for the upcoming Pitch Black set releasing in English on July 17, 2026 has been revealed online.
This is thanks to the upcoming release of Abyss Eye – the Japanese sister set releasing on May 22, 2026 on which Pitch Black is based.
While sets do sometimes change between their earlier Japanese set card list and their eventual international release, lately the sets have been almost identical to one another. Pitch Black is no exception, and should be almost one-to-one with the Abyss Eye card list below.

Pitch Black Secret Rare Cards
In addition to the main set list cards, the entire Secret Rare card list has also been revealed for Abyss Eye’s release, giving us a preview of what the card arts will look like for our own Pitch Black.
Pitch Black Promo cards
Of course, no Pokémon set would be complete without accompanying promo cards, and several have already been revealed for Pitch Black.
Pitch Black prerelease promos
The prerelease promos for Pitch Black have been officially revealed by the Pokémon Company, and they are Dhelmise, Slowbro, Miraidon, and Bastiodon. These will be available at local game stores beginning July 4, 2026 as part of the Pitch Black prerelease events. If you haven’t been to a Pokémon prerelease before, give Pitch Black a try: these prerelease promos look both strong and fun to build decks around.
Zarude Pitch Black ETB promo
Pitch Black seems to just be filled to the brim with Mythical Pokemon as we’ll also be getting an exciting Zarude promo card within the Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box. I particularly love the way the red sky frames the dark gray shadows of the rest of this card’s artwork.
The Zarude pictured above has the Pokémon Center stamp on it, meaning you can only get it in the Pokémon Center Exclusive ETB. Meanwhile, the Zarude without the stamp will be in the regular ETB.
Pitch Black English cards
While we essentially know the set list via the Japanese sister Abyss Eye set, several cards have been officially revealed by the Pokémon Company in English. You can see every single Pitch Black card revealed in English so far via the gallery below.
Pitch Black product lineup
The complete product lineup has been revealed for Pitch Black, and it includes all of the products that typically are released alongside a main expansion, including a Booster Box, Build & Battle, Booster Bundle, and the ETBs (both standard and Pokémon Center exclusive).
(Mega Excadrill)
(Mega Zeraora)
(Mega Chandelure)
