Surfing Pikachu VMAX with Arceus VSTAR Deck
You’ve heard about the Arceus Flying Pikachu deck, but what about Surfing Pikachu? With an ever changing meta, it can be challenging to find new decks that do consistently well. In this latest deck overview, we’re going to be diving into a new deck that could do very well in the current PTCG game. This one features Surfing Pikachu VMAX with Arceus VSTAR.
Surfing Pikachu VMAX Deck with Arceus VSTAR – How it Works
While plenty of people are now using Arceus with Flying Pikachu VMAX, they’ll soon catch onto the fact that there is another deck in town that’s worth giving a shot. And that deck is none other than this one.
The main strategy is, as always is the case with Arceus decks, to use Arceus’s excellent energy acceleration skills to get three water energies onto Surfing Pikachu ASAP. While Turbo Energy is great for this purpose, you can also make it happen pretty easily with a combination of melony and water energy.
Maximize Spread Damage with Telescopic Sight
While Surfing Pikachu VMAX does plenty of damage to the bench as it is, with Telescopic Lens, you can ensure that damage is even greater. While this is great for wearing down opponents, combine it with Inteleon’s quick shooting ability and Radiant Greninja’s Moonlight Shuriken and you are bound to take some critical KOs.
Alternate Between Arceus and Surfing Pikachu as Main Attackers
This deck gives you two solid options when it comes to your main attackers. While Arceus can OHKO most Pokemon V, Surfing Pikachu can also hit some lower HP Vs and has the added advantage of OHKO Palkia VSTAR (the best deck in format).
Use Lunala from Celebrations to Finish the Game
Something fun I’ve been doing is to use Lunala as a late game finisher. Once you’ve dished out some significant damage with Surfing Pikachu VMAX’s attack, you can use Lunala to take potentially several knockouts at once. It’s a move that’s tricky to pull off, but when done right can win games.
With any luck, you’ll be pulling surfing ahead of the competition with this super chill deck, bro!
