UNION ARENA 2025 Vol. 2 Winner Cards Give Me Chills

As hard as it is to believe, we’ve almost made our way into the UNION ARENA Store Tournament 2025 Vo. 2 series and the winner cards contain – yet again – BLEACH Byakuya, and other highly exciting cards.

In anticipation of several sets coming out during the second quarter of the year, Bandai has released what our Vol. 2 Store Tournament winner cards and prizes are going to be.

Asuna will be the chase card of this volume

The biggest chase of this volume will undoubtedly be this gorgeous Asuna card. Hailing from the Sword Art Online set coming out early may, Asuna not only looks good but she’s got a solid effect as well, making her a prime target to be promoted during the movement phase to the front line and take advantage of added BP.

When promoted outside of the main phase, this two-cost Asuna boosts to 4000 BP attack – an insane stat for such a low-cost character.

Effects aside, this Asuna card really is a looker with a background and coloring that reminds me of the SR** from the Code Geass set.

New Ichigo card comes with flare

It’s been a minute since the original store tournament winner cards came out and we were able to compete for that stellar Byakuya card. However, this Ichigo card looks just as solid, and will undoubtedly be a core card in the BLEACH Blue deck. Although specifics of that particular energy color in BLEACH Vol. 2 haven’t been released in English yet, presumably this zero cost draw Ichigo will be an excellent raid target in that strategy, or at the very least a solid turn one option to keep drawing card.

Fuegoleon Vermillion

Beyond the card's stats and abilities lies the heart of a man who embodies chivalry and strength. Fuegoleon Vermillion is more than just a powerful mage; he is a symbol of courage, a protector of the innocent, and a beacon of hope in a world shrouded in darkness. This card captures the essence of Fuegoleon's indomitable will, a force that will undoubtedly lead hardcore fans to seek this card out in victory.

Can’t miss participation cards

Winner cards aren’t the only thing you get from attending a store tournament. Just for showing up, you also get an AP pack and participation pack. This volume’s participation packs look pretty sick, and I like them a fair bit better than volume one’s.

My favorite, of course, is the Byakuya character card. Featuring impressive artwork much in the same vein as the Ichigo Winner Card (minus the golden flash), Byakuya looks pissed off about something here. Hopefully his new card we get in Blue is as solid as the powerful Byakuya Raid we got in BLEACH Purple. Either way, this card would make for a solid raid target as it would make its way into the deck fairly easily.

What I’m perhaps even more excited about, however, is the Byakuya AP you can get form attending store tournaments. This may be the single sickest promo AP card available to date, and I can’t wait to field my BLEACH BLUE deck with these cards in tow.

While the 2025 Vol. 1 winner cards were solid, I haven’t been this excited to compete in a store tournament since the very earliest days of UNION ARENA. We truly have some very exciting sets coming out this quarter in the game and obtaining these exclusive cards is a perfect way to live this epic time in UA history to the fullest!
