Lorcana: Azurite Sea Most Expensive Cards

Azurite Sea is shaping up to be such an exciting set that we almost didn’t even need news of the impeccable new enchanted rare cards getting released in this set. However, the Lorcana world is buzzing about the unique take on enchanted artwork in this set, and many, many of these rare and valuable cards have been revealed.

Below, let’s take a look at the Enchanted cards that are likely to draw the highest value on the secondary card market.

Yzma – Conniving Chemist (Enchanted)

Yzma – Conniving Chemist

This might come off a little strange, but this Yzma Enchanted is probably my favorite. First of all, she’s got a powerful ability that makes her pretty compelling for competitive play. Besides that, the artwork is just really cool here, and I especially like the threadbare drawing design combined with all of the interesting sketches of different ingredients she’s going to use in her next brew.

Baymax – Personal Healthcare Companion (Enchanted)

Baymax

The artwork is pretty sparse here. Sometimes that works really well in favor of these cards. Here, I would say something a little more dynamic would have been interesting. Still, Baymax is an undeniably popular character and likely to fetch a high price once Azurite Sea hits the shelves.

Rafiki – Ethereal Guide (Enchanted)

Regular Rafiki is an interesting card enough thanks to its mechanic. While not likely to be a competitive staple, this Enchanted version of the card is currently my favorite enchanted artwork of the set. What draws me in visually about this card is not only the iconic character – it’s the contrast of the stark background with the incredibly detailed character design included here. Everything about this card adds visual value – even the lore counters look impressive here for some odd reason.

The visual excitement Rafiki expresses here mirrors my own for these incredible and rare cards.

Basil – Disguised Detective (Enchanted)

Lorcana fans may not be aware that we owe Basil a bigger debt than you’d think. This character and this movie are credited with being the beginning of a new era for Disney Animation that would eventually lead to the creation of some of its most iconic characters. Disney history lesson aside, Basil is an interesting character, and this picture pretty strongly sums him up. While not likely to be the single most expensive card in the set, I would expect to see this card up there in discussions for most memorable from Azurite Sea.

Captain Amelia – Commander of the Legacy (Enchanted)

Captain Amelia – Commander of the Legacy

From a composition standpoint, this card looks the bet. Given the seafaring nature of the character, it also works really well given the cartographic theming of these Enchanted characters. That being said, I think the only thing that will impact this otherwise epic card is the character. I’m sure there are some Captain Amelia fans out there but I wouldn’t say she is the most universally revered character of them all.

Additionally, there’s not a huge argument to be had for playing her competitively, as she would only be good in themed decks aimed more at building something fun than something that will win you a league tournament or set championship.

Still, this card should be worth plenty for its incredible design and rarity.

You Came Back (Enchanted)

You Came Back (Enchanted)

Normally Enchanted cards that aren’t characters fair far less well in value. However, this card may not technically be a character card but it has Lilo and Stitch on it – two cards who have done very well in the value department when depicted on Lorcana cards.

I would not turn your nose up at this particular card if you happen to pull it from one of your packs! It could be very valuable down the line.
