Most Expensive Code Geass UNION ARENA Cards

UNION ARENA has performed very well since its debut late this year and part of that is because of the second-to-none artwork included on the chase cards from each set. Now, with UNION ARENA’s fourth set, Code Geass, hitting shelves, people are wondering: what are the most valuable cards of this set going to be?

While we don’t have market data yet, I have a pretty strong notion of what to expect from the most valuable cards.

Take a look below.

#1 Lelouch Lamperouge SR*** Serialized

For starters, the artwork for this card is pretty broken as far as artworks go. Second, it’s a serialized card, the same as what we got in Jujutsu Kaisen. That card has a market value of over $500. That being said, only one of these cards has actually been sold on TCGPlayer meaning the actual value could be higher than that. I think we will see a similar sort of value for this Tripple Star rare Lelouch card.

I don’t know about you but I would absolutely freak out if I pulled this card.

#2 Lelouch Lamperouge SR***

Lelouch ***

Market price: $429.99

Although this card is essentially the same card as the one above, the main difference is that it is not the serialized version, making it still very rare but not mythically rare. Right now, it’s going to put you back quite a bit even just buying this version of the card.

#3 Gawain SR**

Gawain SR**

Market price: $155.41

What do you get when you put C.C., Lelouch, and Gawain in the same, parallel artwork SR** card? Easily one of the top chase cards from all of Code Geass. Artwork and value aside, this card looks very intriguging. While it doesn’t boast the same kind of power as Lancelot, it looks like it would pair with other cards in Code Geass Purple to enable some interesting plays.

#4 C.C. SR**

I have a strong feeling this C.C. card will be number two on the most expensive list for Code Geass. While the card itself looks pretty cool, it’s utlimately going to be the rarity of the card combined with C.C.’s undeniable popularity that will drive this card value to phenomenal heights. Not only is it likely that this card will top the Code Geass charts for most expensive cards, I think she will likely end up being one of the most expensive in the game to date.

#5 Shirley Fenette (081) (SR**)

Shirley SR**

Market price: $129.99

Despite eventually blending into a bit of the background in the anime, Shirley is an important character and a favorite of many fans of the show. In terms of artwork, this card is a pretty solid depiction of Shirley outside of the school uniform we see her in for much of the show. She’s got a decently strong effect when raided, making her base card version strong in Ashford Academy decks. However, I doubt you’ll want to be playing with the valuable SR** version!

#6 Lancelot Air Cavalry SR**

#3 Lancelot Air Cavalry

Market price: $100

This is a seriously cool card, and the Lancelot looks even better here than it does in the show. Not only is Suzaku one of the main characters of the series, his card is also undoubtedly one of the strongest in the set. All of this combined should catapult Lancelot to very high degrees of value.

#7 Euphemia li Britannia SR**

#5 Euphemia li Britannia SR**

Not only is Euphemia a beautiful character inside and out, she’s a major driver for the plot in Code Geass. I won’t give away any spoilers other than that, but she plays a huge role in how the story progresses and is in possession of a will every bit as unwavering as Lelouch her brother.

All of that aside, I think her three energy cost pairs very well with Lancelot and could see her making her way into many competitive decks.

#8 Kallen Kozuki SR *

Kallen SR *

Market price: $19.27

The half-Britannian-half-Japanese Kallen should not be underestimnated. She’s a huge fan favorite and despite being “only” an SR* could very well end up being one of the top cards to chase from this set. Other than being popular, Kallen is a strong character both in the show and in the game where she uses her powerful Guren Knightmare Frame to gain an upperhand against her over-resourced foes.

Code Geass is shaping up to be a very cool set. While we won’t know the actual value of these cards for some time, I’ll keep updating this list as market values come out. Regardless, you should expect the above cards to be worth a pretty penny and sleeve them up immediately if you happen to pull them from your Code Geass products.
