In this article, we’re going to get into the specifics on which products provide the best combination of fun and value for Pokemon card collectors – whether that’s to look for chase cards or to invest in sealed products for value.
We’ve opened each of these and so we are personally recommending these products based on our experience. However, one thing about opening Pokemon product that anyone who has done it long enough can attest to – it varies greatly. Our experience opening these products is likely to be a little different than your experience.
With that being said, here are the best Pokemon sealed products to buy right now.
#1 Surging Sparks Booster Box
Surging Sparks is a hot set, and arguably the best set of Scarlet & Violet era so far. As a matter of fact, these boxes are going for well above MSRP right now partly because of the incredible number of rare and valuable cards that can be pulled from this box.
#2 Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box
While Surging Sparks may be the best Scarlet & Violet era set so far, it could be that Prismatic Evolutions, the upcoming Eeveelution set, is going to blow it out of the water. This set is very hyped. Because it isn’t a special set, however, means that the best way to get a lot of boosters is via an ETB.
Other than coming with some cool accessories, a box with a Stellar Tera Eevee on it, and plenty of boosters (nine in total), this box also comes with perhaps the most collectible ETB promo in recent sets.

#3 Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box

The Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box holds a special place in our memory. After all, Evolving Skies is without the doubt the most epic set to come out of Sword and Shield, and with a slough of incredibly valuable alternate art cards the likes of which we are unlikely to see again soon (if ever) makes this an incredibly good purchase – especially if you can get it at MSRP. Currently, you’ll need to pay a slightly inflated $80 for an unopened box on TCGplayer. Still, that’s a bargain considering how much an Evolving Skies Booster Box is currently fetching.
#4 151 Ultra-Premium Collection - SV: Scarlet and Violet 151 (MEW/Snorlax)

Remember when you were a kid and you got the original Pokemon TCG base set, opened that Charizard and freaked out?
Well, ready to do it all over again? Again?
To be fair, Pokemon capitalizes on Charizard so much that you kind of feel bad for the guy. But even we can’t let irony ruin how awesome this set is going to be to collect. Apart from being incredibly fun to collect the original Pokemon all over again, it’s also likely that this set will age well from a value perspective.

#5 Pokemon GO Premium Collection [Radiant Eevee]

Talk about nostalgia. Remember when the whole world stood still and everyone and their brother was walking downtown playing Pokemon GO? Well, last summer we got to relive some of that magic and chase Pokemon all over again in the wild, only this time in card form. This was without a doubt one of the most fun sets to collect, and the pull rate was absolutely fantastic!
And while just about every sealed product from Pokemon GO is worth the buy, the best of them is undoubtedly the Radiant Eevee Premium Collection box.
What makes this box so good is not only the fact you get a really cool and collectible Radiant Eevee, you also get an equally cool playmat and eight whole Pokemon GO packs!
#6 Celebrations Ultra Premium Collection

Celebrations came out during the height of the mid-pandemic Pokemon craze, and capitalized on crazy nostalgia by actually reprinting the original base set Pokemon. What made the Celebrations Ultra Premium Collection so cool was that you are actually guaranteed a Charizard base set metal card reprint when you buy it. A Charizard, people!
Despite this now cliche over-reliance on selling Charizard’s to move product, this metal Charizard is admitadly really cool, and so are the other cards you get with the set.
Today, the Celebrations Ultra Premium Collection is going for quite a lot sealed. However, a 25 year anniversary set like this is quite special, so it may just be worth the investment. Only time will tell. Regardless, Celebrations was one of the most fun sets to collect, and given its smaller size, it is quite easy to literally catch them all.
#7 Charizard ex Premium Collection

The Charizard ex Premium Collection makes a great box for collectors, and also a fantastic gift to that Pokemon TCG lover in your life. It’s available right now for a very good price, making what you get easily worth what you spend. Not to mention it comes with a gorgeous Charizard ex promo and display case.

#8 Paldean Fates Elite Trainer Box

Paldean Fates is one of our favorite Pokemon packs right now. Not only are these packs a ton of fun, they deliver pretty awesome value with several valuable cards to collect.
