UNION ARENA: Sword Art Online English Version Spoilers
UNION ARENA’s seventh in the English version of the game is going to be none other than Sword Art Online! With the starter deck releasing on April 25th and the booster pack releasing on May 2, 2025, players should have plenty of time to test out these new strategies before even more decks enter the arena end of May. Below, we’ll be looking at each and every spoiler revealed in English from the upcoming set so far!
The top chase cards from UNION ARENA: Sword Art Online
As typically tends to be the case, Bandai has released the images for the top chase cards first from the set – in this case the signature rare cards.
As was the case with One Punch Man, all two star rarity cards and above will include signatures from the original voice actors of the characters.
Perhaps most noticeably (and also somehow very fitting for the show), this set contains two triple star rare cards: Kurito and Asuna.

SR*** may be the big chase from this set, but the SR*** look insanely good, as well.
Sword Art Online Starter Deck spoilers
UNION ARENA starter decks tend to be really solid ways to build your decks on the cheap. This particular starter deck looks particularly solid just based on these two characters, however. You could easily build a Blue SAO deck using thees pieces from buying two starter decks. While you’ll need the Raid versions of these cards from the booster pack to really unlock the full strategy, right here is a solid start.
You can also pair these two cards with the “Switch” event coming out in this starter deck to unlock added combos and benefits.

So far, I’m most excited about the Blue Sword Art Online deck, as it draws from my favorite season of the show and also has some very interesting switching mechanics that could be very fun to play around with in the UNION ARENA meta.
