Lisia’s Appeal and Pikachu ex Revealed from Surging Sparks
Things are heating up as we get closer to the release of Surging Sparks on November 8, 2024, and several exciting and rare cards have been officially revealed in English.
Among these, the two most exciting are the English versions of both Lisia’s Appeal and Pikachu ex.
Lisia’s Appeal – Special Illustration Rare
Lisia’s Appeal is this set’s chase supporter. While it won’t fetch as much as the Pikachu ex SIR (that’s yet to be officially revealed in the international set), plenty of collectors are going to be lining up their Surgins Sparks packs in hopes of pulling this card.
How valuable will Lisia be? Probably somewhere around $50 after a few weeks given similar cards in past sets.
Pikachu ex – Ultra Rare
Despite “only” being an Ultra Rare, this Pikachu ex card is going to be a big draw to collectors. It’s a powerful card in the game, and features the most iconic Pokemon of all time. I would be so excited if I pulled this card.
Spheal – Illustration Rare
This Spheal Illustration Rare was revealed via the official Pokemon TCG X account. It’s a gorgeous card that’s so cute it it’s almost too cute. While this card won’t be fetching tons of cash, it’s a great pull that most collectors would be excited about.
Brilliant Blender – ACE SPEC
The last card I’d like to highlight from the recent English reveals from Surging Sparks is this one – Brilliant Blender. It’s worth highlighting because ACE SPEC cards in general get a lot of buzz specifically in the competitive Pokemon TCG community. While this is not the greatest ACE SPEC of all time, it’s actually pretty cool and could be helpful in decks like Lugia VSTAR that rely on having specific cards in the discard.
