Complete Lorcana: Azurite Sea Card List & Spoilers

Lorcana’s Sixth Set, Azurite Sea, is looking epic from what we’ve seen of it so far. Some very interesting Disney properties are getting added to the game for the first time, including Big Hero Six and Rescue Rangers.

The wonderful Lorcana world building continues in this set as we get the chance to explore a new and yet unseen aspect of the Lorcana realm – the Azurite Sea.

Along with this theme seems to be a definite focus on pirates and characters with unusual seafaring qualities.

Azurite Sea set details

Release date: November 15, 2024

Number of cards: 204

Amber cards

Several pirate characters have been revealed and/or teased for this set, and the strongest of them might just be Jim Hawkins – Honorable Pirate. Many Lorcana players would love to see more support for Pirate decks, making this an exciting inclusion in Lorcana’s sixth set.

Amethyst cards

Yzma – Conniving Chemist is a compelling Legendary, giving you the potential to restock your hand whenever you are low on cards.

Emerald cards

Pirate Stitch not only looks cool, but his ability could be very interesting when combined with cards like Floodborn Mulan who let you play songs for free from the top of your deck.

Ruby cards

The Tigger pirate card might be one of my favorite Lorcana art concepts not only of this set but of all time.

Sapphire cards

Robot is a new classification making its debut in Azurite Sea along with crowd favorite, Baymax. Artistically, the Baymax Armored Companion looks gorgeous. He’s also got an interesting ability that could be interesting to explore while not necessarily competitively viable.

Steel cards

Galactic Council Chamber comes with an interesting ability that prevents your opponent from challenging it while an Alien or Robot character is located there. While that stipulation will likely exclude it from mainstream play, it could be very fun to try out in robot/alien themed decks.

Enchanted cards

Azurite Sea features enchanted rare cards – Lorcana’s name for alternate artworks of cards released in a set – that are a major departure from the alternate arts we’ve seen in previous sets. The theme here is a stripped down, minimalistic artwork that emulates sketches on a treasure map. It’s an ingenious twist on the enchanted formula Lorcana has established up till now and it works.

Azurite Sea products

In order to get these cards, you’ll need to get your hands on Lorcana Azurite Sea products. Here’s a preview of what those products are going to be.

Stitch Gift Set

Just in case you felt there wasn’t enough Stitch fan service going on in the world of Lorcana, here’s a bit more to wet your appetite. What’s cool about this package is that it comes with a promo version of the new Floodborn Stitch Pirate and a card portfolio binder featuring the best of Lorcana Stitch to date.

Azurite Sea Trove

Lorcana’s Illumineer’s Troves are usually my favorite product you can buy. This one is looking like it might be the very best so far, with an incredibly cool Stitch Pirate Lore Counter and card dividers featuring each Ink color with corresponding characters!

Starter decks

This time around we’ll be getting an Amber/Ruby starter deck as well as a Sapphire/Emerald one. It’s no secret that the Amber/Ruby deck will focus on pirates given the inclusion of the pirate versions of Tiger and Jim Hawkins. My guess is Emerald/Sapphire will lean into the interplay of Big Hero Six characters and the robot classification.

Accessories

Azurite Sea is leaning on the well established trend of featuring character arts from past sets. Here we have the phenomenal Elsa – The Fifth Spirit and Pirate Donald Duck. We also are getting Wizard Pooh sleeves which is cool.

Booster Box

The Azurite Sea booster box comes with 24 booster packs (pictured below). At the price point it’s currently available at on TCGPlayer, the booster box is the most affordable option to get the most packs.
