Pokemon TCG: Journey Together English Spoilers and Card List
Journey Together could be a historic set for the Pokemon TCG as it’s the first main set to feature Trainer’s Pokemon since the very early days of the game. Releasing everywhere on March 28, 2025, it’s also the first major set of 2025 following on the heels of the phenomenally popular Prismatic Evolutions.
Already, many exciting and gorgeous cards have been officially revealed internationally, and we’ll be taking a look at those below.
The Latest Journey Together English spoilers – March 25, 2025
Just in case you missed them, the Pokemon Company officially released a batch of Journey Together spoilers via several articles on the official site. All in English, cards revealed include the Ultra Rare version of Iono’s Bellibolt ex as well as the SIR version of N’s Zoroark ex.
See them below.
Lillie’s Clefairy ex 184/159
Lillie’s Clefairy ex is going to be a VERY popular card. Not only is this SIR version gorgeous while also featuring the trainer with her Pokemon, Clefairy ex itself looks very strong. Players are very excited for Clefairy’s Fairy Zone ability which essentially forces dragon type Pokemon to be weak against it. That’s huge in a game where dragon type Pokemon have gone without a weakness for years, helping bridge the gap to potentially make them less of a threat in the current meta.
Clefairy has already been used successfully at the competitive level in Japan, getting paired in the powerful Tera Box deck alongside a plethora of powerful attackers capable of hitting for weakness.
On the secondary card market, this card should be highly valuable.
Additionally, the regular, double rare version of the card has been spoiled in English.
Lillie’s Clefairy ex (173/159) Ultra Rare
Finally, watch out for the ultra rare version of this card. While not quite as artistically fleshed out as the SIR, the ultra rare is especially gorgeous for a card of this rarity, featuring the named trainer traced in the background behind Clefairy.
Lillie’s Pearl 151/159
If you’re looking for a way to make your Clefairy ex even stronger, try pairing it with this Pearl tool. This Pearl has the insane ability to reduce the number of prizes your opponent takes by one when they knock out a Lillie’s Pokemon. While that’s not going to be super powerful in the upcoming Tera Box deck, if you’re wanting to build a straight Lillie Pokemon deck, this could be very handy.
Hop’s Wooloo 170/159
Looking for a little impressionism to get your Journey Together master set started on the right foot? Look no further than Hop’s Wooloo. Although this card isn’t likely to fetch you a fortune once it releases, it will still be a nice addition to any trainer’s collection, especially those who can’t get enough of Hop!
In addition to this Hop’s Illustration Rare Wooloo, we also have two regular Wooloo’s spoiled in English.
Hop’s Wooloo 135/159
Hop’s Dubwool 136/159
While the secret rare versions of these cards prominently display the trainer in their card, the regular versions just have the trainer in a little bubble outside the artwork, just as they did in the original Gym Challenge/Gym Hero set.
Additionally, Hop’s Dubwool looks quite strong, granting you the chance to switch in Pokemon from the bench. That’s pretty insane and could work decently well in decks that run plenty of colorless Pokemon like Tera Box.
Iono’s Bellibolt ex 183/159
More than likely, Iono’s Bellibolt ex SIR will be the top Journey Together chase card. Iono is a fan favorite trainer and her cards have done well on the secondary card market in the past. It doesn’t hurt that this card pairs reasonably well with Raging Bolt ex, giving players a reason to bag this card as well as collectors.
Hop’s Zacian ex 186/159
There was a time when Zacian was a mainstay in competitive Pokemon TCG. However, it’s been a long, long while since that was the case and this card doesn’t look like it’s going to break that mold. While the 240 damage from Brave Slash is decent, it doesn’t have an ability paired with it to make this card more desirable. Plus, four energy cost is a bit high to make paying the cost worthwhile.
Still, this card’s artwork is incredible, depicting Pokemon and trainer in a verdant forest safely away from the cares of the world. This one will definitely be worth more in the binder than in the deck.
Iris’s Fighting Spirit 149/159
Iris has also been leaked as part of Journey Together. A solid draw supporter, I could see this card working well in decks that really dislike discarding card. Collectors may prefer the full art of this particular trainer, however.
Iris’s Fighting Spirit 180/159
Iono's Kilowattrel Illustration Rare 163/159
This Illustration Rare featuring Iono may be a bit cutesy – but don’t count it out. The Flashing Draw ability looks like it could be the backbone of a powerful new draw engine. In competitive decks, and on the secondary card market, this card is likely to perform very well.
Salamence ex Special Illustration Rare 187/159
This card is gorgeous. While Salamence ex may not feature a trainer alongside it, that sort of helps the artwork. We’re stricken by the desolate landscape, and the power and majesty of this near-legendary Pokemon. From a gameplay perspective, I’m stricken by the combination of Salamence ex’s high HP stat with his powerful attack.
This should especially stand out in a meta soon to be dominated by three-prize Pokemon. Salamence looks pretty well positioned to take such Pokemon on no problem, enabling a favorable prize trade while dishing out plenty of damage.
Wailord 162/159
I can only imagine how tough it might be to make an oversized Pokemon like Wailord look good in artistic renderings. This card goes a long way towards achieving that aim, however. Here Wailord takes up the center of the image. Meanwhile, all around it is teaming with colorful water-life. Above surface is a mysterious ship making its way through the sunset.
Despite not likely being a huge chase on its own, you have to appreciate the considerable thought that went into creating this beautiful card.
Lillie’s Ribombee 164/159
This Illustration Rare of Lillie’s Ribombee looks excellent, with a considerable attention to detail paired with a thoughtful look at the trainer.
