6 Spooky Disneyland Halloween Treats 2023 & Where to Find Them
For a place that doesn’t cover a huge land area, there’s a lot to see and do in Disneyland. So much so that you can do an entire trip there and have it look largely different many times depending on what your focus us.
This Halloween season, we’re going to be focusing a lot on the treats in store there, and here are a few of the ones we are looking forward to the most.
Shop for Tasty Treats at Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney
Marceline’s Confectionaery has many tasty treats. Two of them that we tried which are quite good are:
The Oogie Boogie Cereal Treat
If you’re as big of an Oogie Boogie fan as we are, then odds are you’re dying to get your hands on some Oogie Boogie themed treats. The one we are looking forward to the most is the Oogie Boogie Rice Crispie treat. The one caveat here is that this treat isn’t actually available in the Disneyland Park itself. You’re going to have to get it either from Disney California Adventure, or from Marceline’s Confectionery, located conveniently in Downtown Disney.
Minnie Bat Cereal Treat
There are actually several rice themed, rice crispy desert options at the Confectionery, and the Minnie Bat Cereal Treat (while arguably less epic) tastes even better than the Oogie Boogie treat.
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
Mickey Bat Cookies Jolly Holiday
I don’t know about you, but to us, this bat cookie is nothing short of iconic! Undoubtedly it will be one of the first cookies we pick up in our upcoming Disneyland trip. Apart from having the mouse’s face itself on it, this cookie is also available in one of our favorite spots of all – the Jolly Holliday Bakery.
Poison Apple Macaroon at Jolly Holiday
Speaking of Jolly Holliday, who doesn’t love poisoned apples? If you’re seriously desiring to “take a bite”, this poison apple looking macaroon is a great alternative to the poison apple treat that’s also available at Disneyland. If, like us, you’re not really the biggest ever fan of candied apples, the macaroon is probably the better option.
Huckleberry Lemonade at Hungry Bear
We’ve always been big fans of the mint juleps that you can get in New Orleans Square, so of course we are excited about this Huckleberry Lemonade treat. Adorned with a blueberry garnish, we feel like it’s pretty hard to mess up lemonade so we’re eager to give this one a try. You can find it at the Hungry Bear restaurant.
Speaking of the Hungry Bear restaurant, that’s also a great spot to find several other Halloween themed treats, including Chai-spiced Pumpkin Iced Tea, a Pumpkin Churro Funnel Cake, and more!
Pumpkin Cheesecake Cold Brew at Rose Tavern
It’s not that this one is particularly unique or anything, but it sounds delicious. It also happens to be located in one of our absolute favorite places to eat at Disneyland – the Red Rose Tavern. Days at Disney are long, so a nice coffee will go a long way to make it through (especially if you are bringing a small child with you). While getting Starbucks is hardly worth it in the morning given the long lines, lines at Red Rose Tavern are rarely very long, making it the ideal spot to pick up a little cup of joe.
