Pokemon TCG McDonald’s Match Battle 2023 is Here, and We Pulled the Rarest Card

We’re so excited that Pokemon TCG cards are back at McDonald’s. Although we rarely eat at McDonald’s, we definately go there for the Pokemon cards. This year, the cards did not dissapoint. Although each year seems to feature a Pikachu as the rarest chase card, this year’s Pikachu is even cooler than last years. We love the confetti holofoil surrounding the Pikachu card, reminding us of older generation cards while capturing iconic modern artwork.

When did the McDonald’s Pokemon TCG Promotion Start?

The promotion started on September 19th, and will be running until October 16, 2023.

What is the Rarest McDonald’s 2023 Pokemon Card?

The rarest and most valuable card is the Pikachu holographic card (which we pulled). If you pull that one, it might be worth holding onto. Right now, it’s going for around $5 on TCGplayer. Otherwise, recent Mcdonald’s Pokemon cards tend not to be worth a whole lot.
