Lorcana: “Sing Together” for Powerful Songs in Ursula’s Return

Announced today via The Gamer, Disney Lorcana just can’t help themselves from continuing to add interesting new twists on old mechanics. This one enables players to sing more powerful songs than we’ve seen before as an ensemble.

Revealed as a new Keyword ability called “Sing Together,” these songs state that any number of your characters with a cost equivelent to the card’s total cost may sing this card. In the six new Sing Together cards below (one from each Ink type), for example, you don’t need a Chernabog with a cost of ten to sing this card. If you have, for example, five two-cost characters in play, you could exert all of them to play this song.

While many players in the Lorcana community actually accurately anticipated this mechanic, it’s still very exciting to see it confirmed via Lorcana. Of course, this kind of a new mechanic is going to have a huge impact on the game, adding further versatility to songs which are among the most dominate cards in the game to date.

This combined with the recent alternate way to pay Shift costs only goes to show you how exciting and innovative Ursula’s Return is going to be when it hits shelves in May!
