Amber/Sapphire Deck List and Strategy – Rise of the Floodborn
We still have a few weeks left in the Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter, and so it’s appropriate that we highlight one of the strongest Lorcana decks in current format: the Amber/Sapphire deck.
This particular Amber/Sapphire deck performed very well at a large, in person tournament lately. In this guide, we’ll be sharing the Amber/Sapphire deck list you can use, and give some pointers on its strategy, and the key cards that make it work.

Amber/Sapphire Deck – Basic Strategy
Personally I’m a big fan of this deck. In a Lorcana meta filled with decks that do just one thing really well (and over and over again), this deck is super well rounded. It’s got solid resist capabilities thanks to Cogsworth, excellent draw support, solid board clearing thanks to Let it Go and Hades, and arguably the best quester in the game: Alice – Growing Girl.
Here’s how to use this powerful deck to conquer your next tournament.
Play The Queen early, then either shift her into The Queen – Commanding Presence or defend her with Simba.
Start building up your resist – either sing for Four Dozen Eggs or get Cogsworth – Grandfather Clock into play ASAP to start adding extra defense to your characters.
Use a combination of Four Dozen Eggs and the Queen’s “Who is the Fairest” ability to wipe out your opponent’s characters in challenges without taking any damage.
Also pair The Queen’s ability with Alice to power her up all the way to start taking five lore each time she quests.
Amber/Sapphire Deck – Key Cards
This deck has some pretty insane cards in it, but we’ll highlight just a handful that really make it tick.
Amber/Sapphire – Strengths and Weaknesses
This deck is incredibly well rounded. That being said, it doesn’t do any one thing exceptionally well, which opens up a few weaknesses. Early on, you could find it hard to fend off a particularly aggressive deck as Amber/Sapphire needs a little bit of time to get going with its higher questing card (that being Alice). At the same time, late game you could find it hard to keep up with the more dominate control decks.
That being said, as far as midrange decks go, Amber/Sapphire is incredibly reliable, and likely to be seeing a lot of play as the current meta progresses.
