Rise of the Floodborn: Enchanted Rares Revealed!
We’re just a few days away from the general release of Rise of the Floodborn. However, the spoilers keep coming, and many enchanted rare cards have been revealed. Let’s take a look at them below.
Beast – Relentless | Enchanted
This Beast Enchanted Rare should be familiar to any serious Disney Fan. It’s a storyborn character, meaning the Beast appears here exactly as he does in the films. This Beast card could very well be one of the most valuable to come out of Rise of the Flooborn, as its non enchanted rare version is already collecting a high price on the secondary card market.
Cinderella – Ballroom Sensation | Enchanted
It’s pretty exciting to get an enchanted Cinderella card. Undoubtedly this will be one of the chase cards of the new set. Not only does this Cinderella enchanted rare feature gorgeous artwork, it seems like a pretty playable card. The singer 3 ability is quite strong, and a similar card (Ariel) has seen a lot of success on the competitive scene. Cards that do well competitively that are also incredibly rare tend to deliver a lot of value.
Snow White – Well Wisher | Enchanted
Speaking of competitively viable cards that are also quite rare, Snow White – Well Wisher is likely to collect quite a high value once these card become more widely available. This version of Snow White (while featuring undeniably gorgeous artwork) is a Floodborn character, meaning that she appears quite differently than the character we are used to seeing from the story. I also appreciate the puny title she’s given – a well wisher is someone who wishes the best for others. Of course, we also know about Snow White that she likes to literally make wishes in wells.
Namaari – Morning Mist | Enchanted
This Namaari card isn’t so gorgeous as it is cool. Not to mention Namaari has a powerful ability. She’s not only a bodyguard, she can also challenge readied characters. That being said, her 2 strength doesn’t make her exactly the most fearsome opponent to behold.
Arthur – Wizard’s Apprentice | Enchanted
Rise of the Floodborn features many characters from the lesser known Sword and Shield film. Two of them made it into the enchanted rare camp. The artwork for this card is spectacular, with Arthur’s Dreamborn version performing magic most likely learned from his famous teacher, Merlin.
In addition to its rarity, Arthur is quite strong, with an ability that is likely to be leveraged by many serious Lorcana players.
